Transferring to UBI
Credit transfer Students who have gained credits from a recognized university degree programme elsewhere are invited to apply for a Credit Transfer. All such applications must be supported by sufficient official academic transcripts and detailed module narratives. Successful applications are dependent upon approval by the Admissions Board and the Middlesex University Link Tutor. This may lead to module exemptions.
Transferring from UBI
UBI students may apply for an external transfer to another institute of higher education by making an official application to the Special Cases Committee. The student must complete the appropriate form. Such a transfer may only occur for a maximum period of one semester.
The decision by the Special Cases Committee is final and may not be appealed. UBI students may apply for an internal transfer between UBI campuses by making an official application to the Special Cases Committee. The decision by the Special Cases Committee is final and may not be appealed. A minimum grade of 50% must be earned in order to transfer credit.
Only credit hours are transferable, grades do not transfer and do not count towards your final grade. You will receive the number of credits that appear on the other institution’s transcript, but credit hours are taken at institutions following a quarter or trimester calendar will be converted to semester credit hours.
